Birmingham with National Express.

I’m sure everybody can relate to wanting to venture out for the day & especially from your home town… so I did just that.

I absolutely love travelling around Europe or anywhere out of England, but I seem to neglect visiting places closer to home – so a trip was planned to Birmingham for the day!

I was kindly gifted travel tickets from National Express for my friend and myself to travel up to Birmingham for the day & we got planning!

It was so nice just to sit back & relax the journey, rather than driving & stressing out about directions! Plus saving the environment & all…The coach was kitted out with USB ports, air conditioning, leather seats, on board toilet for weak bladders like myself, WiFi and free entertainment which meant I could catch up on my programmes!

With a quick turn around as it was around a 4-5 hour coach, we had to plan sensibly on what to do for the time there! An early wake up call and some comfy seats, of course a nap was an essential to start the day off right.

First stop: the Disney Cafe of course! Can I just confirm this is the best place on Earth & the Primark it was located in was even better!!! Shopping heaven!

Recommend highly!!!

Second off we had a wonder round the Bullring shopping centre & we went with the flow… only having a round 3 hours of spare time we wanted to soak it all in!

Yet another food stop and we just wondered round the surrounding area and soaked in the scenery… a lot of graffiti which I LOVED!

So would I recommend a day out in Birmingham? 100%

Even if you have a short timeframe, you cannot go wrong with a new change of scenery!

If you want to be eco friendly & enjoy a more scenic route – You can search routes & book tickets here & fares start from just £5…

Until next time.
